Presbyterian Churches of Freeland & Weatherly

Sunday, December 3 at 2:30 P.M. Community Advent-Christmas Carol Songfest at Freeland Presbyterian Church, 625 Front St. Participating will be A Bell Choir from St John Basco Catholic Church; String Ensemble from MMI Preparatory School and Soloist Rev. Gregory Palmer, Allentown. All are welcome. Free Will Offering for those in need. Bring a dessert if you can for the fellowship time.

The congregations of the Freeland Presbyterian Church and the First Presbyterian Church of Weatherly are involved in a variety of projects. A Free Clothing Giveaway is held the first Friday of each month, 9 a.m. to noon in Freeland. Services are held at Weatherwood Nursing Home at 10 a.m. and Heritage Hill Senior Community at 10:45 a.m. each Friday.

The churches provide monthly assistance to a child overseas. Donations have been made to area food pantries, the Weatherly Area Community Library, local ambulance and fire companies, Brainerd Youth and Adult Camp & Conference Center, and more.

Among the groups and activities that have taken place in the churches are a monthly storytime by the Weatherly Area Community Library, a quilting group, a chess club, the Weatherly Area High School Alumni Association, Presbytery of Lehigh, and many others.
